A note from the founder
A business is more than a name in somebody else's database.
For 21 years, my dad ran Gary & Andre's Oil Master in the Fort Smith area. I grew up helping there and saw what local ownership actually asks of a family: long days, earned trust, and a reputation built one customer at a time.
I built Fort Smith Directory to be a local source of truth in the age of AI: a place where hard-working owners can put accurate information on the record, and neighbors can understand who is behind the businesses they find.

How we label a listing
Owner claimed, information reviewed, license checked, and sponsored are four separate facts. We say which ones apply instead of folding them into one badge, and paid placement is always labeled as paid.
